   I want to only use a text field that has default text but i would not want the user to be able to submit the default text... i do not wish to use the required check box as this causes the form to have all the additional errors etc so i use only text fields... its only for a simple join mailing list you see.... please help me

   The default text must disappear upon clicking in the box

   Any suggestions?

   yep tried this, several attempts, I'm pretty good at editing but this doesnt work. any suggestions please? thanks in advance
